The Resort

Built for travelers on a real journey

Sersi sits along the Kedarnath Yatra road, where pilgrims break their journey before the final stretch to the temple — some continuing on foot, many by helicopter from the helipad nearby. Shersi Heights Resort was built for exactly this moment: a warm room, hot food, and quiet mountain air after hours on the road.

Rooms are simple and kept warm against the hill-country cold, with hot water, clean bedding, and a view of the ridgelines that lead, eventually, to Kedarnath itself.

Stay

Rooms to rest before the climb

Three room types, all kept warm and simple — built for real rest, not for lingering luxury. See every room in detail, with photos of each.

Yatra Assistance

From arrival to onward departure

Most guests stay one night, moving between two long days of travel. The stay is built around that sequence.

01

Arrive & Rest

Check in after the drive up NH109, warm up, and settle in before evening.

02

Hot Meal

A home-style dinner and hot chai, timed for an early night's sleep.

03

Early Departure Support

Guidance for helipad transfers or the onward trek, timed to the weather and the day's schedule.

04

Onward to Kedarnath

Off toward the temple, with the room held or luggage stored if you're returning through Sersi.

Dining

Simple, hot, home-style meals

Meals are served on-site — Garhwali and North Indian home cooking, plenty of hot chai, and food timed around yatra schedules rather than restaurant hours. Guests departing before dawn can arrange an early breakfast or a packed meal for the road.

In the evening, the dining area doubles as a place to warm up before bed — practical, unhurried, and exactly what's needed after a long day of travel.
